Who am I ?
Hi, I’m Justin Mireles; Comic book nerd, film buff, dog owner, but most importantly, graphic designer that specializes in illustration. I grew up an hour outside of Austin,TX, in a small town called Rockdale (if you blink, you miss it). I love using my abilities to help people and solve their problems.

In my down time, when I’m not designing, I love to watch movies, read comic books, and play video games. I also create comic strips, it’s a little side project I have wanted to do since I was a kid. I also have a dog, who is my world! His name is Chancho. He is a 3-year-old English Bulldog and he is my main inspiration. They say a dog is man’s best friend, and he truly is mine.

Currently, I am seeking employment with a company that treasures the idea of teamwork above all. I also look for a place of employment that treats employees as individuals that values their ideas, and not just another name on a sheet. To me, there is something special about being part of a team that makes you feel comfortable expressing ideas and have that feeling of family. From a design point of view, I am always looking for exciting new design projects.
My goal has always been to give my art a purpose. After high school I had to contemplate my career path. It was established that I loved to illustrate, but how do I make a living with that skill? It was then that I realized what I really wanted; I wanted to give my art a purpose. You see, a drawing is just a drawing, but once it’s done, what then? I wanted my art to live out there in the world, to have a reason for being, and to be a solution to someone's problem. That’s when I decided to become a graphic designer. Our art has a purpose, it tells a story. Whether that story is a brand, a book cover, a poster, or a product, that’s all up to you.
